Description: Deep Tissue Massage Butter feels rich and creamy, and stays on the skin long enough to give a good massage without reapplication. It is smooth as silk, yet provides enough drag for slow deep tissue work and it soaks in well, leaving your client feeling moisturized but not greasy. It's become a local favorite with Massage Therapists and Physical Therapists in Central Oregon- we think you'll love it too!
Indications: Useful for all types of massage, especially slow, deep work. Our customers with very dry skin also like to use Deep Tissue Massage Butter as an intensive, all-body moisturizer.
Benefits: Provides the perfect glide, with just enough "grab" for deep tissue massage. Won’t slip or skip. Rich and thick, eliminating the need to reapply- a little goes a long way. Even our scented blends are usually hypo allergenic and safe for people with sensitive skin and suppressed immune systems.
Skin Type: All Types
Tips: Deep Tissue Massage Butter is excellent for self massage. The cocoa butter and shea butter deeply hydrate while beeswax provides a protective layer to lock in moisture, making it an excellent moisturizer for those with chronically dry and rough skin.
A note from Angelina~ I created Deep Tissue Massage Butter when I was in massage school. My enlightened instructor, Jessica, provided us with information about the health hazards associated with the accumulation of toxins in commercial massage lotions and creams. I immediately went to work and developed this new creamy butter. My goal was to create a product that is pure, healthy and hypoallergenic. I started with the most healing plant I know of, aloe vera. My pure, fresh aloe vera juice was hand-squeezed from the inner filet of certified organically grown plants and blended with unrefined, handcrafted shea butter, organic coconut oil from the Phillipines and organic cocoa butter for an amazingly moisturizing and nourishing experience. Gentle arnica and St. John's Wort flowers soothe and promote healing of soft tissues, while lecithin helps maintain cell walls and hydration, making skin look smoother and healthier. Vitamin C and E and rosemary seed extract provide antioxidents that help undo environmental damage to the skin.
